As it is a tattoo, there may be some mild discomfort during the treatment. However, the majority of our clients do not consider it to be painful, and there is very litle to no pain or discomfort after the treatment has been performed. We have even had people so relaxed during the treatment that they fall asleep! If you are worried about experiencing pain during the treatment, a topical anaesthetic can be used to numb the area being treated.

There are very few risks and/or side effects associated with SMP. In rare cases, some people may experience minor swelling, bruising, or itching around the treated area. These effects are temporary and will resolve on their own within a few days of your treatment. It is important to stop taking any blood thinning medications prior to your treatment (where possible) and avoid drinking alcohol for the 48 hours before your treatment to reduce this risk.

The SMP treatment takes on average around 3 hours per session. However, this will be dependent on the size of the area being treated and the extent of treatment.
